CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The College provides a significant variety of co-curricular activities and experiences in which our students may become involved.

There are a number co-curricular activities available to students:

- The College fields a number of inter-school debating teams, which have achieved excellent results in competitions.

- Student can receive public speaking training and participate in competitions.

- The College has developed a number of bands, choirs and ensembles which perform at Presentation Evening, at concerts held each term and at special events.

- The College established a proud record of achievement in the Rock Eisteddfod Competition (2002 Premier Division State Champions), before producing high quality musical productions: Zombied (2004), Henry (2005), You're History (2006) and Wolfstock (2007).

- The College has an active Chess Club and hosts the annual Western Zone Chess Tournament.

- A growing number of students have undertaken the Duke of Edinburgh Award, first offered at Werribee Secondary College in 2003.  Students have completed the award to bronze, silver and gold levels.

- Students participate in Rotary Public Speaking Competitions and the Lions Youth of the Year Award.

- Our Year 10 Formal is organised by a committee of Year 10 students.

- An annual Debutante Ball is organised by the College.

- The College organises the annual Valedictory Dinner for graduating Year 12 students.

- Students may participate in hosting students from our sister-schools in Singapore or Japan.

Chess Club actvities run during lunchtimes and competitions are conducted with other schools. Our Chess Club meets at lunchtimes and competes in regional competitions.

Students can participate in a wide range of community-based activities and competitions. Students participate in the Science Challenge.

The College conducts an Art Exhibition to showcase the work of indigenous artists. The College organises an Aboriginal Art Exhibition.
